In 2008, Sasobit (1.5% by weight of asphalt) was added to a PG 58-28 polymer-modified asphalt at the producer's plant, barge-shipped 800 mi to the project site, and used for paving the two-lane, 24-ft-wide roadway located 20 mi south of Petersburg, Alaska.
